Year 11 Trust Event 2025

Tuesday 9th September 2025 - Year 11 Trust Event at Admiral Lord Nelson School.

We are very excited to announce that there will be a Year 11 Trust wide event on 9 September (13.45-15.15) at ALNS at which we will have Omar Sharif as our inspirational keynote speaker speaking to Year 11s and sharing his own journey to success.

Omar Sharif is a powerful speaker known for his raw honesty, lived experience, and ability to connect deeply with audiences of all ages. Having transformed his life after years in London gangs, Omar now speaks across the UK and internationally, helping people navigate adversity, build resilience, and step into their full potential.

Omar’s latest keynotes for schools are inspired by his debut book Breakthrough - a gripping, practical guide for young people on how to take back control of their lives. The book recently hit Amazon’s Top 100 Bestsellers List and continues to make an impact in schools and communities across the country.

Based on Omar’s personal journey and a proven framework for change, these talks are designed to meet students where they are and leave them with tools they can use right away.

In his keynote, students will learn how to:

• Break limiting beliefs and rewrite their personal story
• Navigate peer pressure and build real belonging
• Develop confidence, purpose, and emotional resilience
• Create positive daily habits and shift their mindset
• See the power of belief — and how to turn setbacks into breakthroughs

Omar's book, Breakthrough, will be available to purchase and have signed by the author at the event.
