The Information Centre

The Information Centre has many resources to support our students’ learning with access to fiction and non-fiction books, IT equipment and quiet learning areas both during and after the school day. Students in Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 are following "Lets read" a structured reading programme in their lessons and in the Information Centre there are a variety books to support and expand on this.

Students can also get information regarding colleges and other Post 16 options. Students can also access the Careers Advisor for free impartial advice. Please visit the Careers and Aspirations area on the school website to find information about career pathways, job profiles, labour market information (LMI) and much more.

The information centre is open Monday to Friday at the following times;

08.20 – 08.40 Before school
10.45 – 11.15 First Break
12.50 – 13.20 Second Break
15.00 – 16.00 After school (15.00-15.30 on a Friday)
